Adoptievoorwaarden

• SALUKIHOPE is niet aansprakelijk voor enige door of vanwege de hond veroorzaakte schade na datum van adoptie.
• SALUKIHOPE is niet verantwoordelijk voor de door adoptant wettelijk verplicht te betalen hondenbelasting en het doen van aangifte.
• SALUKIHOPE houdt na adoptie graag toezicht of de voorwaarden op de adoptieovereenkomst worden nageleefd en verzoekt adoptant toegang tot de hond te verlenen voor nazorg.
• SALUKIHOPE heeft het recht de hond terug te nemen en zonder rechterlijke tussenkomst de adoptie-overeenkomst ontbinden indien adoptant:
a. zonder schriftelijk voorafgaande toestemming van SALUKIHOPE de hond verkoopt of feitelijk aan een derde overdraag
b. met de hond fokt en/of de hond laat deelnemen aan hondenraces of aan de jacht;
c. de hond niet voldoende verzorgt, huisvest of vrijheid van beweging geeft, e.e.a. uitsluitend ter beoordeling door SALUKIHOPE;
d. de hond zonder medische indicatie ter euthanasie aanbiedt; (onder welke omstandigheden adoptant bovendien een boete verbeurt van € 750,– aan SALUKIHOPE).
• SALUKIHOPE is niet aansprakelijk voor een lichamelijk of psychisch gebrek bij de hond die ten tijde van de adoptie verborgen aanwezig blijkt te zijn (geweest) en voor de eventuele gevolgen daarvan. Indien evenwel na adoptie van
zulk een gebrek blijkt, heeft de adoptant het recht tot de 14e dag na de adoptie de hond aan SALUKIHOPE terug te geve of na schriftelijk verkregen toestemming van SALUKIHOPE voor rekening van SALUKIHOPE de hond medisch te laten verzorgen. Gebitsreiniging, ontworming, behandeling
oorontsteking, testen op buitenlandse ziektes en aandoeningen bekend op datum van adoptie worden niet door SALUKIHOPE vergoed. Vergoeding van
medische koste vervalt na 2 weken! Indien binnen 2 weken na adoptie een dierenartsbezoek nodig is, overleg dit dan eerst met uw consulent zodat SALUKIHOPE een offerte kan aanvragen bij uw dierenarts of eentje waar wij
mee samenwerken.
• Adoptant is verplicht de hond jaarlijks door de dierenarts te laten vaccineren, of te laten titreren, en dit te laten registreren in het dierenpaspoort behorende bij de hond. Hij zal het dier niet verwaarlozen of mishandelen. Bij ziekte of afwijking draagt adoptant zorg voor een behandeling bij een erkend dierenarts.
• Indien de hond op datum van de adoptie niet gecastreerd is, is adoptant verplicht zulks bij de eigen dierenarts te laten doen en wel bij een reu op een leeftijd tussen 6 en 9 maanden en bij een teef voor de eerste loopsheid (tenzij ande afgesproken tijdens adoptie). SALUKIHOPE draagt hiertoe een bedrag bij van € 40,– voor een reu en € 80,- – voor een teef, indien de rekening ter zake deze castratie binnen 2 weken na behandeling door SALUKIHOPE is ontvangen.
• Indien de adoptant door persoonlijke omstandigheden niet (langer) zorg kan dragen voor de hond, zal adoptant in overletreden met SALUKIHOPE. Deze zal zich inspannen om voor de hond een goed alternatief adoptieadres te
vinden. Een afspraak zal gemaakt worden omtrent ophalen/wegbrengen van de hond. Hiervoor wordt 150,-afstandsgeld en reiskosten berekend. Er wordt afstandsgeld berekend vanaf drie weken na adoptie.
• Adoptant is verplicht SALUKIHOPE te informeren in geval van ernstige ziekte van of ongelukken met de hond. In geval va overlijden van de hond dient men dit schriftelijk, of per mail, aan SALUKIHOPE te melden, eventueel vergezeld van een kopie van de overlijdensverklaring, opgemaakt door de behandelend dierenarts.
• Adoptant is verplicht in geval van verhuizing de adreswijziging aan SALUKIHOPE door te geven.
• De persoonsgegevens van adoptant en van de geadopteerde hond worden door SALUKIHOPE beheerd en bewaard in een persoonsregistratie in de zin van de Wet Persoonsregistratie, waartoe adoptant SALUKIHOPE machtigt. Gegevens worden enkel gebruikt indien er contact moet zijn inzake de adoptiehond.

• De chip van de hond zal bij aankomst door SALUKIHOPE worden aangemeld bij BackHomeClub.nl, een erkende databank als zijnde ‘import’. De adoptant is verplicht om binnen 14 dagen na adoptie, de chip van de hond op eigen naam +
adres over te zetten. Wij adviseren u om dit ook bij BackHomeClub.nl te doen. Dit kan uiteraard ook via een dierenarts. Voor adoptanten in België geldt dat zij de hond ook zelf aan moeten melden bij ABIEC. Bijbehorende kosten komen voor eigen rekening. Ook moet u de hond bij uw gemeente registreren ivm eventuele hondenbelasting (dit geldt enkel voor Nederland).
• Indien de hond binnen twee weken terug wordt gebracht om een andere reden dan in punt 5 genoemd, wordt het adoptiebedrag minus 25% terugbetaald. Na deze periode vervalt het recht op restitutie.

– SALUKIHOPE is not liable for any damage caused by or because of the dog after date of adoption.
– SALUKIHOPE is not responsible for the dog tax legally required to be paid by the adopter and the filing of tax returns.
– SALUKIHOPE is happy to monitor compliance with the terms and conditions on the adoption agreement after adoption and requests the adopter to provide access to the dog for follow-up care.
– SALUKIHOPE has the right to take back the dog and, without judicial intervention, to dissolve the adoption agreement dissolve if the adopter:
a. sells or actually transfers the dog to a third party without SALUKIHOPE’s prior written consent;
b. breeds with the dog and/or allows the dog to participate in dog races or hunting;
c. fails to provide adequate care, housing or freedom of movement for the dog, at the sole discretion of SALUKIHOPE;
d. offers the dog for euthanasia without medical indication; (under which circumstances the adopter also forfeits a fine of €750 to SALUKIHOPE).
– SALUKIHOPE is not liable for any physical or psychological defect in the dog that appears to be (or has been) hidden at the time of adoption and for any consequences thereof. However, if after adoption it appears of such a defect, the adopter has the right until the 14th day after adoption to return the dog to SALUKIHOPE, or after written consent of SALUKIHOPE to have the dog medically taken care of at the expense of SALUKIHOPE. Dental cleaning, deworming, ear infection treatment, testing for foreign diseases and conditions known at date of adoption are not reimbursed by SALUKIHOPE. Reimbursement of medical expenses expires after 2 weeks! If a vet visit is needed within 2 weeks of adoption, please consult with your consultant first so SALUKIHOPE can request a quote from your vet or one we work with.
– The adopter is obliged to have the dog vaccinated, or titrated, annually by the vet and to have this recorded in the animal passport belonging to the dog. He will not neglect or mistreat the animal. In case of illness or abnormality, the adopter shall arrange for treatment by an authorised veterinarian.
– If the dog is not neutered on the date of adoption, the adopter is obliged to have this done by his own veterinarian and for a male dog at an age between 6 and 9 months and for a bitch before the first heat (unless otherwise agreed upon during adoption). SALUKIHOPE contributes an amount of € 40,– for a male dog and € 80,– for a female dog.
– for a bitch, if the invoice for this castration is received by SALUKIHOPE within 2 weeks after treatment.
– If the adopter cannot take care of the dog (any longer) due to personal circumstances, the adopter will enter into consult with SALUKIHOPE. The latter will try to find an alternative adoption address for the dog. An appointment will be made regarding pick-up/drop-off of the dog. A distance fee of 150,- and cost of travel will be charged. Distance fee is charged from two weeks after adoption.
– The adopter is obliged to inform SALUKIHOPE in case of serious illness of or accidents with the dog. In case of death of the dog, this must be notified in writing, or by e-mail, to SALUKIHOPE, possibly accompanied by a copy of the death certificate prepared by the attending veterinarian.
– The adopter is obliged to notify SALUKIHOPE of the change of address in case of relocation.
– The personal data of the adopter and of the adopted dog are managed and kept by SALUKIHOPE in a register of persons in the sense of the Personal Data Protection Act, to which the adopter authorises SALUKIHOPE. Data will be used only if contact is to be made regarding the adopted dog.
– On arrival, the dog’s chip will be registered by SALUKIHOPE with BackHomeClub.co.uk, a recognised database as being ‘import’. The adopter is obliged, within 14 days of adoption, to transfer the dog’s chip to his own name +
address. We advise you to do this at BackHomeClub.nl as well. This can of course also be done via a vet. Adopters in Belgium must also register the dog with ABIEC themselves. Associated costs are for their own account. You will also need to register the dog with your municipality due to possible
dog tax (this only applies to the Netherlands).
– If the dog is returned within two weeks for another reason than mentioned in point 5, the adoption fee will be adoption fee minus 25% will be refunded. After this period, the right to a refund expires.
